El pasado domingo se organizó la prueda del 3er CX Centre illa Trofeu Axes training, donde participó nuestro compañero Martí Jaume.
Debido a un problema con las ambulancias y por falta de médico la organización de se vió obligada a dar inicio una hora y media más tarde, hecho que obligó a reducir la duración de la prueba para las categorias open A y B a 45’.
Tras estar colocado en la quinta fila de la parrilla de salida, con unos 20 corredores situados por delante, tras el toque de salida realizó una salida un poco lenta y sin ritmo, pero gracias a que el final de la larga recta de asfalto que terminaba en una pequeña subida, pudo remontar algún puesto, pero el primer movimiento clave en la remontada fue en el primer giro situado al final de recta, entrando desde el interior y pudiendo realizar una apurada de frenada digna de Moto GP lo que permitió a Martí trazar toda la curva por el interior y ganar unas 8 posiciones.
Al iniciar la segunda vuelta, al entrar en la zona más ratonera del circuito y aprovechando el perfecto conocimiento del recorrido Martí pudo adelantar 6 posiciones más en solo un par de adelantamientos.
Quedando colocado entre los 6 primeros corredores de open A.
Pudo mantener esa posición y ganando 2 puestos tras los pinchazos de Bernat Trias y Biel Mayans. Este último se vió castigado por la mala suerte sufriendo un segundo pinchazo.
Ya al inicio de la última vuelta Martí pudo advertir de cómo Miguel Juan Adrover, se estaba acercando peligrosamente ya que le acompañaba Bernat Trias.
La juventud y chispa de Bernat hizo que este se marchase de Miquel Joan Adrover para cazar a Martí a falta de aproximadamente un cuarto de vuelta. Martí se colocó a rueda de Bernat a sabiendas de su mayor capacidad de aceleración para intentar no perder mucha comba y en caso de algún fallo por parte de Bernat estar al acecho, pero el joven corredor no cometió fallos y al lanzar el sprint Martí no pudo remontar la potente arrancada, pero logró entrar en el mismo segundo tras un reñido sprint.
